Do you have IBS, maybe it’s Leaky Gut?

So What Is Leaky Gut?

Leaky gut is a condition that is very rarely diagnosed by any Western medical tests. Leaky Gut’s symptoms are far ranging and can affect several systems either separately or together.

If highly stressful environments and poor food choices and acidity are present in the body for long periods of time. Bacteria and pathogens can create tiny tears or perforations in the gut lining that can cause tiny part digested food particles and molecules to pass through into your bloodstream.

Another way that Leaky Gut affects you is through your own toxic waste. Leakage from parts of your bowel can pass into your blood stream causing serious temporary damage and autoimmune issues. What can then happen is other organs are now put under pressure to deal with and excrete these particles from the body safely. This then creates more work for the Liver, kidneys, Lungs and Heart and other organs also rapidly depleting your bodies vitamin and mineral levels. So the use of antibiotics, acidic and sugary foods, exposure to viruses, bacteria, parasites and general poor health can all lead to the conditions ideal for leaky gut to start to permeate.

ALL of the following symptoms can be caused by LEAKY GUT:

Anxiety, ADHD, Depression, Adrenal Fatigue, Hashimotos, Hypothyroidism, Graves Disease, Acne, Rosacea, Eczema, Psoriasis, Constipation, Diarrhea, frequent colds, food sensitivities, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, headaches, Migraines.

So any single symptom from the above list or collection of these symptoms can be caused by your Leaky Gut.

More related and possible symptoms are Gluten Intolerance, Dairy Intolerance, CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), Lupus, magnesium and iron deficiencies, IBD, Chrones or Colitis, IBS, bloating, gas and cramps.

Second Brain!

Your Gut is the CORE of your health and if it’s leaking into your bloodstream your health is suffering. Therefore a key indicator of the first stages of leaky gut in your small intestine/ upper intestine is multiple food sensitivities. This is where partially digested fat and protein particles pass into your bloodstream causing an allergic response. Sometimes this is a skin rash or outbreak and sometimes this allergic response is sneezing or sinus issues. Sometimes joint pain, your thyroid can also be affected meaning depleted energy levels, hair loss etc etc.

Are You Mineral Deficient?

One of the main side effects of leaky gut is that you can become depleted of vitamin b12, Iron, Zinc and minerals like Magnesium and Calcium.  Supplementation will help to bring your body back into balance and solving your leaky Gut can be a simple 4 step process.
